JANET W KORNERICH -- OBITUARY

 
BANGOR--Janet W. Kornreich, 41, died Jan. 1992, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Auburn Nov. 30, 1950, the daughter of Burton L. and Jacqueline (Kraunz) Wilner. Janet graduated with honors from Edward Little High School, Auburn, Class of 1969. She also graduated from Simmons College in Boston, Class of 1973, with a major in elementary education and psychology and received a master of education degree from the University of Maine in education administration and held a principal certification. Janet was a member of Congregation Beth Araham, Bangor, and was a member and vice president of the Sisterhood; a member of B'nai B'rith, the ORT and American Field Service. Surviving are her husband, Louis H. Kornreich of Bangor; her parents formerly of Auburn and presently of Palm Beach, Fla; three daughters, Sarah, Hannah and Ilana Kornreich, all of Bangor; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Jan Wilner of Holden, Mass., and Jan Wilner of Holden, Mass., James and Laura Wilner of Ashland Mass.; one sister and brother-in-law, Ronnie and Barry Sugarman of Brookline, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, Center Street, Bangor, with Rabbi Henry Isaacs officiating. Interment will be at Beth Abraham Cemetery, Bangor. Memorial week will be observed at 21 East Summer St., Bangor. Friends who wish may contribute in Janet's memory to Congregation Beth Aabraham, 145 York St., Bangor, 04401.
