Third from left: Abraham Edward Caplan (called \"Eddie\" by most people - not Caplin), my father. The man in back looks to me like Phil Goldberg who eventually became partners with my father in the Art Upholstering Company on Free Street in Portland.

His wife (your mother ?) was my violin teacher at one time.
