Fruma/Fannie (Levine) Shulman headstone - Year not known

Note : Fruma/Fannie (Levine) Shulman Frumeh bat R. Shlomo abt. 1853 January 20, 1925. She was born in Russia about 1853 to Rabbi Solomon and Lillian Levine. She was married to Israel Shulman (1851-1921 also buried at Mt. Sinai) who was a teacher. Together, they had many children: Annie, Samuel, Charles, Rachel, Saul, Rose, Saul, Lena. They immigrated from Russia in 1908. The 1920 census listed them living at 155 Newberry Street in Portland with Israel still a teacher and their daughter, Rachel (born abt. 1898) working in a factory. Sadly, Israel passed away from complications of asthma the next year. Fruma was living at 32 Clark Street in Portland at the time of her death at age 72.
