Jacob Rolnick, 84, , of 185 York Street, died unexpectedly May 21 at a local hospital. Born in Russia, July, 1885, he was the son of Saul and Evelyn (Gatlieb) Rolnick. He was co-founder of the Gatlieb and Rolnick Meat Market on Hancock Street. He leaves his wife, Marian (Kobritz) Rolnick of Bangor; Six daughters, Mrs. Robert Hoffman of Swampscott, Massachusetts, Mrs. Morton Schwab of Scarsdale, New York, Miss Mildred Rolnick of Bangor, Mrs. William Meyer of Hanover, New Hampshire, Mrs. Lillian Kobritz of Bangor, and Mrs. David Arbetter of Marblehead, Massachusetts; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held today at 11am at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, Center Street, with Rabbi Henry Isaacs officiating. Burial will be in Beth Abraham Cemetery.
