BEN GORDON -- OBITUARY

 
Ben Gordon, 65, of 163 Elm St., died Wednesday at a local hospital after a brief illness.Born in Russia, September 22, 1904, he was the son of Herman and Eva (Yellin) Gordon. He was the proprietor of the former Gordon’s Luncheonette in Bangor. He was a member of the United Commercial Travellers and the Congregation Beth Abraham. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Violet (Gotlieb) Gordon of Bangor; two sons, Herbert A. of Bedford, Mass., and Arthur E. of Brighton, Mass,; two brothers, Sam of Perth Amboy, N.J., and Harry of New York City; two sisters, Mrs. Gussie Schapira of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mrs. Bess Silberger of Perth Amboy, N.J.; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
