LILLIAN SALZMAN -- OBITUARY

 
Bangor – Lillian (Cohen) Salzman, 67, daughter of the late Harry Cohen and Rebecca (Striar) Cohen, died March 8, 1993, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born in Bangor March 10, 1925. Lillian was a graduate of Bangor High School; a member of Congregation Beth Abraham; and a member and past president of the sisterhood. She was chairperson for several years of the Chevra Kaddisha Women’s Committee; and a member of Jewish Senior Citizens. Lillian was a registrar at the voting polls. Surviving are her husband, Robert Salzman of Bangor; a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Marjorie Salzman; three grandchildren, Kali, Benjamin, and Aaron Salzman, all of Glouchester, Mass.; a sister, S. Elizabeth Cohen of Stoneham, Mass.; one uncle and many cousins.
