NATHAN SAZIN -- OBITUARY

 
Nathan Sazin died at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Chelsea Mass., April 7, 1914, son of William and Rose (Smolens) Sazin. He was a foreman of the Ansewn Shoe Co. of Bangor. He was a member of the New England Shoe Formemens and Superintendents Association Inc., the Congregation Beth Abraham, B'nai B'rith and the Chevra Kadisha of Beth Abraham. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude Shapiro Sazin, Bangor, two sons, Joey Alan Sazin,Peabody, Mass, and Steven Mark Sazin, Malden Mass.; two grandchildren, Scott Adam Sazin and Debra Lee Sazin, both of Peabody, Mass.,three brothers, Arthur Sazin, Salem Mass., Lewis Sazinsky, Chelsea, Mass., and Samuel Sazin, Margate, Fla. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, Center Street, with Rabbi Henry Isaacs officiating. Iterment will be in Beth Abraham Cemetery. Memorial week will be observed at the family residence, 16 Maple St. Those who wish may contriibute in his memory to the Cancer and Tumor Clinic, Care of EMMC, 489 State St., Bangor.
