ROSE ADLER -- OBITUARY

 
Houlton – Rose Adler, 81, widow of Harry Adler, died Tuesday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born in Poland, September 17, 1879, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Lewina. She was a member of the Abraham Sisterhood and a member of the Bangor Synagogue. She is survived by four sons, Jake, Phillip and Max, all of Houlton, and Alfred of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three daughters, Sarah Adler of Houlton, Mrs. Barney E. Scher and Mrs. Elizabeth B. Goldberg of Brooklyn, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Jewish Community Council Center in Bangor with Rabbi Freedman officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Bangor. Friends may call at the Jewish Community Council Center.
